    As always, another very interesting and instructional video. Thank you. From the year 2000 to 2016 I used a Blaser K95 for hunting. In my long hunting life I was lucky to have many rifles, but this one was my favourite . A joy to carry and shoot, so precise. Many red deer , fallow deer, thar, chamois , wild boar and other species were collected using that rifle. Cheers from Patagonia.

    Have you considered that changing light conditions may be changing your zero? I’ve had a similar issue with one of my rifles that completely goes away when I run a sun shade on the scope.

      Takk for hyggelig tilbakemelding.

      @@THLR Ja, har testet en del selv. Ladedataene til vihtavuori er jo latterlig lav. Så har lest på hva andre bruker som ladninger og laget noen stiger selv. Og brukt gordons reloading tool for å få en viss peiling på hastighet og trykk. Endte opp med 57.8 gr n-565 til 140gr eld match og 58.5 gr til 127 lrx. Gir 890ms og 920 ms i en 55cm lilja pipe.Har ladet samme hylsene 6 ganger nå, og forsatt ikke romme hettelommer. Virker som n-565 er veldig temp stabilt. Hadde akkurat samme hastighet ved 2 pluss grader og over 20 pluss grader. Og en ES på 2ms på 10 skudd sist jeg sjekket med Garminen.

    I love your 1 minute drill but can you do a version of the drill resting on other natural stabilizing platforms like a fallen tree, boulder etc. We don't have the luxury of a prone shot in the heavily wooded canopy of North Eastern NA. A situation I can imagine is when one is a the edge of a valley and you spot game across the valley, a 500 plus meter shot like your drill, you have no flat surface to do prone due to the heavy ground clutter. So a tree stump is all you can rest on for that long shot. It's going to be a sitting or kneeling with stump rest in 1 minute drill. I'd love to see a version of your drill in other positions. Your work is gold!

    Takk for nok en informativ video. Har blitt en vesentlig bedre skytter utelukkende ved å trene/praktisere informasjon du deler på kanalen din. En ting jeg lurer på er muzzle jump. Det ser ikke ut som det påvirker dine poi selv om pipa går opp og litt til venstre. I langhold filmen din snakket du om rekylopptak og justering av kroppens posisjon

    • @THLR
      @THLR 11 днів тому

      Flott å høre, det er "oppdrag utført" for meg det. Fysikken i det er at rifla må ha rekylen rett bakover lenge nok til at kula har forlatt pipa. Bryan Litz har filmet dette med høyhastighetskamera, og VELDIG forenklet (og litt feil) kan du si har rekylen er 2-3cm lang og kula har forlatt pipa før rifla har beveget seg en full cm. Så kula mi er ute av pipa før rifla endrer retning. Munningshoppet blir mindre/rettere jo mer rett bak rifla får lov til å bevege seg og uten at det er noe som styrer/vipper rifla sideveis eller opp/ned. Her får du hjelp av en høy kolbekappe som forhindrer "knekkpunkt" og vipp oppover (hvis du ser på nesten alle beltematede maskingevær levert til infanteriert så ligger toppen av kolbekappa over løpet) og et anatomisk grep som gir avslappet håndstilling og har plass til fingrene og musklene i hånden. Lengden på kolben må være "rimelig" slik at du kan støtte deg på albuene og samtidig nå frem til avtrekkeren - må du bruke muskler for å holde deg oppe så er nok kolben for lang, og om du får ukomfortabel vinkel i håndleddet er den nok for kort. (Dette er ikke et kritisk mål, de fleste har en stor toleranse for brukbare kolber). Og tilslutt må kikkertsiktet være lagt korrekt i motasjen så øyeavstand blir rett. Øyeavstanden vil bli kortere i liggende stilling hvor du ligger rett bak, og lenger i stående stilling med lang arm. I min liggende stilling ligger jeg ikke så rett bak rifla som jeg kan ligge, kolben ligger 6,5 cm fra kanten av kragebeinet (mot hals). Når jeg ligger helt rett er avstanden ca 5cm, men dette blir en "hardere" stilling og kolben kunne godt vært litt kortere for denne. Kompromisset mitt er en plassering som funker i alle stillinger, jeg klarer rett og slett ikke skyte stående med kolben så tett på halsen. Motsatt vei, litt mer på skrå, kolben litt lenger mot skulderen og gjerne albuen litt lenger fra kroppen endrer rekylhoppet motsatt vei. Så mitt standardtips er å rette seg opp ganske mye, men ikke begynn å skyte som PRS skytterne da disse har mindre rekyl og mer framtunge rifler.

    My assumption is the velocity of the ammo has changed from different packets. Happens with factory ammo all the time. Even happens between different cans of the same powder if they are from different batches. Generally explains a higher point of impact at shorter distances and a lower point of impact at longer distances. The Garmin xero chronograph with its portability & lightweight has helped me tremendously with troubleshooting. Doesn’t change point of impact either as it’s not attached to the rifle. Good luck!

      That'll be episode 371 around time 06:50 and I refered to Håjan Spuhr of Spuhr mounts. He did the math.

      Pas de problème Rafael, j'ai appris un peu de français à l'école. Dans ce film, j'utilise du 6,5x55 avec Lapua 120gr Scenar L. N'importe quel 6,5 mm fera de même. Je suppose que 6,5 Creedmoor sera plus disponible dans toute l'Europe ? Mais environ 60 % de toutes les munitions d'usine de calibre 6 mm à 8 mm peuvent utiliser les mêmes techniques que celles que je montre ici.

    Kjempe video som vanlig 👍 Har du noen formening om Minox zp5? 😊 Kva kikkerter den kan sammenlignes med, kvalitet? ++

    • @THLR
      @THLR Місяць тому

      Dengang da så var Minox ZP5 priset hele €1000 euro lavere enn Schmidt Bender PMII, og etter ca 2 år var jeg såpass fortrolig med ZP5 at jeg kvitter meg med PMII kikkertene. Det er en robust og god kikkert, så og skjøt alt jeg kunne finne med min Leica//Swarovski håndkikkert. Men stor og tung i likhet med alle slike kikkerter. MR4 er vel det mest anvendelige retikkelet. Hvordan det måler seg mot de mest moderne kikkertene idag (feks nye Kahles med det store synsfeltet) vet jeg ikke. Prisene har blitt såpass astronomiske at det er uaktuelt å teste; jeg ville nok overvåket Finn.no etter ZP5, Kahles eller PMII. Her ligger vel den mest omfattende testen jeg har sett av ZP5 rokslide.com/forums/threads/minox-zp5-5-25x56mm-thlr-field-evaluation.253283/

      @@THLR takk for utfyllende svar 👍 Ligger ein strøken på finn til 19500, bra pris? med THLR retikkel. Kikkerten er vel mykje samme som ein kahles k624
